VOLUNTEER!

Over 100 volunteers are needed to help make the Portland Twilight Criterium presented by Subaru, a success.  No special skills are required. All volunteers will receive a cool event shirt, a free slice of pizza and a soda.


 

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

Flyering Party #1
Monday, Aug 9 | 6:00 - 8:00 pm - Includes FREE RIDE PASS to Tour de Lab!
Help flyer the neighborhood to inform them about the event. Meet at the elephant statue in the North Park Blocks. (NW 8th & Everett)

Flyering Party #2
Wednesday, Aug 11 and Thursday Aug 12 (MUST COMMIT TO BOTH SHIFTS) | 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Includes FREE RIDE PASS to Tour de Lab!
Help flyer cars and put up parking signs to inform people about the event. Meet at the elephant statue in the North Park Blocks. (NW 8th & Everett)

Street Barricade Monitors: NW Everett St.
Friday | 5:30 - 9:00 pm
Includes FREE RIDE PASS to Tour de Lab!
Help close the streets! Move the barricades that have already been placed on the sidewalk into the street and help direct any car traffic away from the course. You also get to see the race up close! Meet at the Info Tent.

General Volunteers
Friday | 4:00 - 7:00 pm
Be that go-to volunteer that we need to make this event a success. We have a thousand little tasks when 10,000 spectators descend on the Park Blocks to watch the race. We'll need a group of reliable volunteers that can handle just about anything. Meet at the Info Tent.

Course Marshals
Friday | 5:45 - 8:45 pm
Feel the wind of the peloton on your face! Monitor a section of the course and control pedestrian crossing in your area. Meet at the Info Tent.

Very Early Set Up
Friday | 12:30 - 4:00 pm
Help us get a jump on the day. We need help unloading all the supplies and barricades from the truck and we'll begin putting everything in its place. Meet at the elephant statue.

Set-up and Course Taping
Friday | 2:00 - 6:00 pm
Get your volunteering done before the race starts so you can enjoy the evening! Help set up the information area and tape the race course. Meet at the elephant statue.

Event Breakdown
Friday | 8:15 - 10:15 pm
Have fun eating some good food and watching the races and then get your volunteering done! You will be help break down the event and ensure the cleanliness of the park before we leave.

Truck Unloading
Monday, Aug 10th | 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Includes FREE RIDE PASS to Tour de Lab!
Help us finish the job the following Monday morning. We'll have a ton of supplies to unload from the different trucks and vans.
